ERP & RRA Best Practices & Cyber Security Tools for Success - Boise & Online
Join us for a valuable training session led by Stephen Fitzner from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), focused on strengthening your system’s Water and Wastewater Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Risk and Resilience Assessment (RRA). During this 2-hour session, Stephen will walk participants through both the ERP and RRA processes, highlighting best practices and providing guidance on how to effectively complete each component.
Participants will also receive an overview of EPA’s VSAT tool and learn how to use it when developing their Risk and Resilience Assessment. In addition, Stephen will explain how to navigate the EPA certification requirements for ERP and RRA submittals, helping systems understand what is needed if they fall under these federal mandates.
Cybersecurity—an increasingly important topic in today’s water and wastewater infrastructure—will also be a key focus. Stephen will share insight into current threats, common vulnerabilities, and strategies for staying ahead of bad actors to keep your system secure.
The training will conclude with a Q&A session, offering attendees the opportunity to ask Stephen specific questions related to ERP/RRA development, cybersecurity, or other related topics.
